This style valve has two different removable stops (or bungs), allowing for better control of inflation. The larger stop releases air when removed whereas the smaller (inside) stop has a one-way valve and allows inflation when removed.

A True Upgrade
These are infinitely superior to the traditional pool toy valve one has to squeeze the base in order to open. This really is such an intuitive design for those who dread the tedium of preparing an inflatable toy. With this valve’s one-way stopper, no more scrambling to plug the cap before too much air escapes; just put the pump to the valve and let the toy absorb and retain the air like a sponge. No more hurting your hand while pinching the valve to deflate; just pull the stop out and let the air pour out. This particular valve is the perfect universal size to replace any average valve. I’d recommend buying a few because you’ll want to replace more after giving one a try.
